Resumen
Currently, the workload of basic education teachers remains an issue that has not received adequate attention, despite its serious effects on occupational health. In addition to teaching, teachers must take on multiple administrative tasks and face bureaucratic demands that exceed their workday, negatively impacting their well-being and the quality of education. Moreover, the low social valuation of the profession and insufficient salaries can exacerbate stress, exhaustion, and burnout syndrome. Therefore, it is crucial to implement policies that reduce administrative burdens, improve working conditions, and prioritize teachers’mental health to ensure a quality education system.
