Resumen
Teaching programming in secondary schools faces numerous challenges, such as the perception of the subject as intimidating and the lack of educational resources adapted to local contexts, particularly in developing countries like Peru. This study presents the development and validation of a web application designed to overcome these barriers by providing an interactive environment where students can learn programming concepts through a chatbot that uses natural language processing to offer real-time explanations and guidance, along with a block-based modeling system that enables accessible and engaging programming practice. An experimental study was conducted with secondary school students in Lima, comparing the learning outcomes obtained through the application with those achieved using traditional methods such as videos and documentation. The results show significant improvements in computational thinking, problem-solving skills, and student confidence among those who used the application, with 80% achieving scores above the established average. The high user experience rating further reinforces the application's acceptance, underscoring the importance of intuitive interfaces in digital learning. This paper discusses the implications of these findings for programming education in similar contexts and suggests future directions for enhancing and expanding the use of interactive technologies in technical education.
