Resumen
This article shows the results of a virtual instrument that evaluates the optimal parameters of materials in the generation of thermoelectric energy. For the evaluation, some parameters have been considered, such as the generated voltage, the temperature difference, the Seebeck coefficients, the thermal conductivity, the electrical conductivity, the merit factor ZT, the absolute temperature, the level of solar radiation, the solar constant, among others. The instrument has been developed entirely on the Matlab platform. The objective is to have a tool that allows calculations to be made to optimize the generation of low-power thermoelectric energy, initially. In further studies, we expect that they will lead to the generation of higher energy levels, given the high energy requirements of both industry and the general population. Systematic reviews of the work of several researchers and of databases have been carried out, previous knowledge of previous research on thermoelectric materials, solar radiation has been tested, as well as programming knowledge has been put into practice, the same ones that have enriched the data and the results of this development.
