Unsihuay-Tovar E.; Venegas-Mejía V.L.; Esquivel-Grados J.T. · Revista Venezolana de Gerencia (2023) · DOI: 10.52080/rvgluz.28.e9.46

Resumen

The application of technological resources in higher education is becoming increasingly necessary, in the same way as the development of professional skills, which has become imperative, even more so in the period of the COVID-19 pandemic. In this line, the research was carried out whose objective was to determine the degree of relationship between the use of virtual didactic strategies and the development of professional skills. The study of quantitative approach, transactional type and correlational design was carried out in a sample of 111 students of four academic cycles of the Master’s Degree in University Teaching of a Private University of Lima, enrolled in 2021. For the collection of data on the variables, to two questionnaires designed under Likert scale criteria, which were subject to validity and reliability analysis. To contrast the correlational hypotheses, since the data did not fit the normal distribution, Spearman’s correlation coefficient was applied, whose value is 0.851 and the significance test p-value 0.000 less than 0.01, which allows concluding that there is a relationship considerable and significant positive among the variables studied, being similar in the correlation of dimensions related to virtual teaching strategies with the development of professional skills. It is recommended to optimize the use of virtual teaching strategies to achieve better development of professional skills.
