Resumen

In this article, the specific characteristics of the Colonial School of Cuzco will be revisited in the context of the debates regarding the Spiritual significance of European Baroque. Andean Baroque is revealed as a particular way in its own political and spiritual context. This discovery is fundamental in order to understand its originality and its peculiar attractive even among its critics.
