Using Process Mining to Improve Productivity in Banks

Enzo V.-L. · Lecture Notes in Networks and Systems (2022) · DOI: 10.1007/978-3-030-98015-3_66

Resumen

This article shows the use of process mining, where it is verified how process mining techniques are able to extract knowledge from an event log. This method provides a means to discover, monitor and improve the processes of the organization. This method is important because more and more events are registered in companies and it is increasingly difficult to control. On the other hand, there is a need to improve and support business processes in constantly changing competitive environments. The process mining sequence will help to discover hidden information in the company’s processes, be able to monitor the activities of the workers and avoid deviations of activities and improve their productivity. Errors and bad practices will be minimized based on the event registration.
