Resumen
The presence and reproductive activity of Charadrius vociferus (killdeer) is documented in an urban archaeological complex in the city of Lima, Peru. Two inactive nests were recorded in the huaca and two active nests with four and three eggs respectively were recorded near the archaeological complex, along with anti-predatory behavior by the adult. This record contributes to the understanding of the ecological plasticity of the species in anthropogenic environments.
