Resumen

Entrepreneurship is a variable that is explained by multiple factors. This research aimed to confirm that attitude, behavioral control, and education determine the entrepreneurial intention of a youth population. The methodology applied followed the quantitative approach with causal design and hypothetical deductive method. Questionnaires were applied to 468 university students in the region of Ayacucho, Peru. The model was statistically validated with the Chi-square test (p<.05) and explains that entrepreneurial is influenced by attitude, behavioral control, and education, between 30 and 38%; therefore, should be considered as part of training competencies in university entrepreneurship seedbeds and as educational element in youth events to promote entrepreneurial spirit at university’s students.
