Resumen
The study analyzes the influence of university innovation on the quality of academic and administrative management, considering student satisfaction as a mediating variable. A structural model was proposed consisting of three dimensions of innovation: Administrative Innovation, Process Innovation, and Product Innovation, which were evaluated in terms of their impact on Student Satisfaction and the Quality of Academic and Administrative Management. The research adopted a quantitative approach, with a non-experimental and explanatory design, applying the PLS-SEM method to a sample of 420 students from public universities in Peru. The results confirm that the three dimensions of innovation exert direct, positive, and significant effects on student satisfaction, and that satisfaction partially mediates the relationship between innovation and quality. The model explains 26.2% of the variance in satisfaction and 20% of the variance in management quality, indicating a moderate relationship among the constructs. These findings reinforce the importance of integrating institutional innovation strategies centered on the student experience as a pathway to strengthening university quality and advancing toward sustainable excellence models.
