Resumen
Using a quantitative approach, the relationship between research skills and study habits of professionals enrolled in postgraduate programs at universities in Lima, Peru, was analyzed to identify how these variables correlate and contribute to addressing relevant social problems. Using a non-experimental design, two validated and highly reliable questionnaires were administered to 1,023 postgraduate students. Data were analyzed using SPSS version 27. The results showed a moderate positive relationship (0.466) between research skills and study habits. It is concluded that study habits enhance research competencies, benefiting performance and the development of cognitive skills. However, it is recommended to consider other elements that may also influence these skills. © Licencia de Creative Commons Reconocimiento-NoComercial-CompartirIgual 3.0 Unported. http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/3.0/deed.es_ES
