Resumen
The objective of this study was to analyze the influence of university commitment and social responsibility on entrepreneurs in the district of Puente Piedra, in the city of Lima. The hypothetical-deductive method was applied, using a quantitative approach, non-experimental design, explanatory scope, and cross-sectional cut. The sample consisted of 394 entrepreneurs selected through probabilistic sampling. The survey technique was employed, and three structured questionnaires based on dimensions and indicators were used as instruments, with all items measured on a Likert scale. Inferential results, obtained through non-parametric tests such as multivariable linear regression, showed that university commitment and social responsibility have a positive influence on entrepreneurs (p < 0.05; t > 1.96). In conclusion, universities possess the necessary capabilities to provide comprehensive support to entrepreneurs by strengthening the competencies of students, faculty, and administrative staff, thereby contributing to the economic and social development of their communities.
