Resumen
Recent studies of Myxomycetes have revealed a high diversity of species in tropical environments; however, there are still large gaps in the information available for the Neotropics. In the present work we report for the first time the presence of the species Lamproderma gulielmae and Trichia ambigua in the Peruvian tropical Andes. The data presented expand the geographical distribution of these two species to the southern hemisphere and further highlight the role of the high Andean forests as a refuge for Myxomycetes. © Los autores.
