Transition from Classical Inputs to Quantum Outputs with Artificial Neural Networks

Nieto-Chaupis H. · 2025 IEEE 23rd Student Conference on Research and Development, SCOReD 2025 - Conference Proceedings (2025) · DOI: 10.1109/scored68498.2025.11399062

Resumen

In classical electrodynamics, the usage of closed-form formalisms, might yield infinite sums whose physics interpretation can be done inside a framework of field quantization, as first noted by Ritus and Nikishov. In this paper, by following the theoretical formalism done by Hartemann and Kerman, the emitted radiation of a free electron inside a strong laser is translated in terms of a basic artificial neural network, it is a perceptron. Thus, the quantum coherence for ground state enters into classical description by converting the perceptron in a semiclassical artifact, with a direct dependence of number of absorbed photons by electron. The final model has turned out to be semiclassical, and the emitted radiation has been numerically investigated yielding similar profiles to fully classical linear and nonlinear Compton scattering.
