Resumen
This study presents a systematic review on the impact of Industry 4.0 technologies on logistics within the retail sector. Based on the analysis of 22 scientific articles, it identifies the most widely adopted technologies—such as the Internet of Things (IoT), Blockchain, RFID, Big Data, robotics, and artificial intelligence—and their applications in key areas including warehousing, inventory management, and distribution. The findings indicate that these technologies not only enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs, but also improve traceability, responsiveness, and customer experience. Additionally, positive effects on sustainability and strategic digitalization are documented. The evidence suggests that the adoption of Industry 4.0 tools is essential for the competitiveness of modern retail, and highlights the need for further research into their real-world impact, particularly in emerging regions.
