Resumen
The reality of business management leads to the proposal of timely results to obtain productive activities with added value and thus increase their competitiveness in the consumer market. The objective of the research was to analyze the training in business management and its impact on the competitiveness of farmers in the Supe Valley, in Barranca-Peru. The research was applied, with a pre-experimental, longitudinal design and explanatory level. The population consisted of 150 farmers from the Cantagallo, Minka and Campiña de Supe sectors, and a non-probabilistic convenience sample of 20 farmers was taken. As a result, a p=value of (0.000 < 0.05) was obtained, so there is evidence to reject the null hypothesis and accept the alternative hypothesis, inferring that training in business management increases the perception about the importance of competitiveness in farmers. It is concluded that through the acquisition of skills and knowledge, training not only strengthens the individual capacities of farmers, but also contributes to the sustainable development of the region by fostering innovation, efficiency and resilience in the agricultural sector. © (2024), (Universidad del Zulia).
