Training French as a Foreign Language teachers in Peru: university study programmes, challenges and teachers' expectations

Resumen

This study examines the initial and continuing training of teachers of French as a Foreign Language (FFL) in Peru, through an analysis of university curriculums, the strengths and limitations of training, and a survey conducted among in-service FFL teachers. It presents the current context of training programs at three Peruvian universities. The study proposes suggestions to improve the quality and professionalization of FFL training in Peru. © Synergies France, nº 18, Année 2024.
