Resumen
This article is a review with the purpose of providing a bibliometric analysis of the research on total productive maintenance (TPM) and overall equipment efficiency (OEE) in the manufacturing sector. The manufacturing sector is the main engine of economic growth in Peru, as it generates new jobs, inventions and fosters progress. The inclusion criteria consisted of selecting only research and review articles from Scopus relevant to “TPM” and “OEE” during the period 2013-2024, written in English and with full and free access, excluding conference articles, books and papers that were not directly related to the manufacturing sector. After iteration, the final sample included 44 review articles, concluding that there is sufficient empirical evidence to establish a positive relationship between TPM implementation to increase OEE in the manufacturing sector.
