Resumen
The public housing management in Colombia, led by the competent ministry, is insufficient; because it does not manage to articulate effectively with the territorial management processes, as is the case of Buenaventura. So, the objective of this work starts from analyzing management indicators of the Technical Housing Directorate, during the periods 2004-2015. Using a qualitative analytical-relational methodology, based on reviewing the number of homes delivered and the assigned budgets; allowing to throw results oriented that, despite having a significant historical increase in supply in 2015, these were not enough to solve the problem of the quantitative deficit; modeling at the end, a projection of reduction of this to 2031. Therefore, the finally reflection is aimed at the fact that local management will be effective if it is articulated with the national, and the private sector; mainly with the sufficient and permanent allocation of resources.
