Resumen
The research aims to analyze the thermal comfort of an adobe house located in the high Andean area of Peru, specifically in the Pampa Quehuar-Cusco; likewise, previous studies are described in relation to the thermal properties of adobe in various areas of Peru and are contrasted with research carried out in Latin America and Europe.A design proposal is then presented to improve livability and reduce construction waste in adobe homes, prioritizing adobe material that is accessible and affordable. Finally, the relevance of using traditional, renewable, and economical materials to ensure thermal comfort is highlighted, that is a solution to increase the thickness of adobe walls is proposed to ensure the quality of life of the population in the Cusco region.
