Resumen
As seen in some bacteria populations their chemotactic motility would depend on all those events that involves physics as well as biochemical interactions that are favorable to them in order to exert the best space-time strategies to conquer any type of environment. Thus, in this paper the colonization of a substrate is perceived as stochastic event so that it is possible to apply probabilistic formulations such as the well-known Bayes theorem. It is demonstrated that a probabilistic chemotaxis would be related to the diffusion equation, fact that would support the idea that bacteria might exhibit a diffusive but also random behavior. Simulations are presented and discussed.
