The RLC Circuit to Model 3D Harmonic Oscillators of Wired Trapped Ions

Nieto-Chaupis H. · International Conference on Electrical, Computer, and Energy Technologies, ICECET 2025 (2025) · DOI: 10.1109/icecet63943.2025.11472376

Resumen

The basic model of a RLC circuit is used to describe the 3D harmonic oscillations of wired trapped ions, as might be the case of a quantum computer. After of applying some algebra models for classical observables, it is found that energies of trapped ions turn out to be quantized in similarity to well-known quantum harmonic oscillator. Basic commutators relations have been derived to accomplish the quantization of energy. More than to explore the existence of novel physics behind the present paper, it is expected to be a didactic as well as referent material to initialize a study about atomic physics and light-matter interactions in realistic quantum computers.
