Resumen

The objective of this study is to give a look from the viable systems approach to the public university of Peru, which has undergone an adaptation process to comply with the requirement of university law 30220, which created SUNEDU, whose main function is evaluate compliance with the Basic Quality Conditions by the universities and grant them the license to continue providing university professional training services, The recursion levels of the university have been identified, the first level the university, the second level the faculty, the third level the professional school, up to the specialty and the course, the components of the organic structure and the functions of the public university with each of the elements of the model of viable systems and the components of the basic quality conditions were related to the elements.
