Resumen
This study examines political discourse on social media in Peru, emphasizing the urgency of a deeper analysis in this field, particularly in university theses. Through a thematic synthesis of 26 thesis reports, it identifies key trends and approaches in digital political communication, investigating how political actors implement discursive strategies to influence public perception and address phenomena such as post-truth, disinformation, and digital activism. This approach underscores the need for a more responsible use of social media, which is crucial for protecting the quality of political discourse and the integrity of democratic debate.
