The podcast as a teaching strategy to strengthen oral expression in students of the second cycle of the Professional School of Primary Education-National University of Piura, 2022

Resumen

The study was carried out with the purpose of demonstrating the effectiveness of the podcast as a teaching strategy to strengthen oral expression in students of the second cycle of the Professional School of Primary Education (National University of Piura). The approach applied in the research work is quantitative. The design is pre-experimental and the level is explanatory. A non-probabilistic sample was applied consisting of 25 students who during the academic semester 2021-II, were enrolled in the second cycle of this professional career. In addition, the practice of oral expression was measured through an evaluation rubric where the following competencies were considered: phonological and phonetic, grammatical (morphological and syntactic), lexical and semantic, pragmatic and sociolinguistic. The results were favorable because 96% of students were at a high level of development of oral expression skills from the production of podcasts. In addition, the recording of them allowed the understanding of the topic investigated by the students.
