Resumen
This article aims to elucidate the contribution to the sense of justice from Andean rationality. For this purpose, a hermeneutical analysis of the Huarochirí Manuscript and the List of Antiquities of the Kingdom of Peru, written at the dawn of the Viceroyalty of Peru (17th century), was carried out. From its interpretation, it was revealed that the sense of justice in Andean rationality has different ethical connotations from the Western one, since, unlike the latter, where economic and instrumental rationality predominates based on a logic of means and ends, sharpened by an anthropocentric assumption of the world; In Andean rationality there is no such instrumentality, thus neither man nor nature having been reified for practical-utilitarian purposes. From this point of view, its contribution to the sense of conventional justice consists of the practice of ethical principles such as relationality and complementarity between man and his ecosystem, fostered by a cosmocentric conception that induces him to establish a sacred bond of reciprocity with otherness and nature under an ontic dyad of subject-subject, thus predisposing to the recognition of the Other through the logic of the included third and thereby allowing the conservation of balance in the cosmos. © (2024), (Universidad de Tarapaca).
