Resumen
This article seeks to analyze the Diary of a medical intern from the perspective of human development and the so-ciological theory related to educational processes to cha-racterize medical training in the internships. The aim is to reconstruct, through qualitative analysis of the discourse of this testimony, the educational system built around the training of doctors, especially in a crucial period such as internship, in which medical practice is learned within the hospital. In this scenario, learning occurs related to medical knowledge and disease treatments, but also towards attitudes, emotions, and behaviors as a product of social interactions between the actors in health establishments. They shed light on a health system with many material de-ficiencies that reproduce situations of mistreatment and humiliation not only among doctors, but also towards pa-tients.
