THE HARM TO MINORS DUE TO DIVORCE: AN APPROACH FROM PSYCHOLOGY AND LAW

Flores Rosado C.B.; Herrera Pérez E.I. · Actualidad Juridica Iberoamericana (2022)

Resumen

This article aims to make an approach from psychology and law to the harm suffered by minor children due to the divorce of their parents. For this purpose, a documentary review method was used, resorting to studies and investigations of psychology to determine the impact of divorce on children, as well as legal studies and investigations on jurisprudence related to the subject matter. The authors conclude that it is not possible to deny that divorce impacts minor children, potentially causing damage that could be classified as unfair. However, it is added that it is not possible to establish a universal solution to this type of case, given the particularities that they have.
