Inadequate oral health, due to dental caries, has been identified as a problem to be solved in many countries globally. Unhealthy eating habits, poor oral hygiene and lack of regular medical check-ups are some of the causes that have been identified as influencing the high numbers of people suffering from tooth decay. It is pertinent to search for compounds that help to attenuate this health problem. For this reason, the objective of this research is to define the effects and efficacy of the fluoride varnish compound ClinproTMWhite on caries lesions in various populations, through a review of the literature, both in clinical trials and in vitro studies. For this purpose, methods such as analytical-synthetic, inductive-deductive, historical-logical, systemic, the MCD method and bibliographic review in the following databases were used: Scopus, MEDLINE and Google Scholar. A total of 12 research articles were selected during the period 2017-2021, the main effects of Clinpro White Varnish fluoride varnish and its interrelationships were defined, concluding that it has demonstrated an anticariogenic and remineralizing effect both in clinical trials and in vitro studies.
