Resumen
Until the 1980s, studies on the history of science, engineering, architecture, and health in Peru were developed mainly by professionals in these areas. However, from this decade onwards, historians became more interested in these lines of research. This paper offers a historiographic balance of the research in these branches of history in the last 40 years through their characters and contributions, the institutions to which they belonged, and the activities they developed relevant to Peru’s progress. © The Editor(s) (if applicable) and The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2024.
