Resumen
In this chapter, the aim of our study is to design the first steps of a line of research focused on cognitive archeoastronomy. On the basis of genetic epistemology, we seek a better understanding and interpretation of the Inca cultural legacy in relation to the field of astronomy in culture, archeoastronomy, and/or science in general, preserving the cultural context and worldview, or cosmovision, of the original Andean peoples who inhabited the Tawantinsuyo and especially in the Cusco Region, including the Inca’s Sacred Valley. We conclude that, from whatever perspective we look at it, we perceive that the magnitude of the proposed challenge seems to naturally lead us to a kind of intellectual effort in Ayni,* demanding the collaboration of different areas of knowledge. That is, reciprocity as a principle that permeates the entire Inca cosmovision will be exactly the same normative reciprocity necessary for the coordination of actions and operations of thoughts in order to be able to configure correspondences between the system of logical operations and the system of causal relations that characterize scientific knowledge.
