Zuñiga J.C.; Perez J.F.A.; Portugal E.S.; Cornejo J. · 2025 IEEE International Conference on Interdisciplinary Approaches in Technology and Management for Social Innovation, IATMSI 2025 (2025) · DOI: 10.1109/iatmsi64286.2025.10985328

Resumen

This study examines the integration of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the textile sector, with a specific focus on companies based in Lima, Peru. It addresses five key questions to evaluate how these technologies enhance productivity and competitiveness, identify challenges, and optimize resource management and operational efficiency. Key benefits include improved efficiency, cost reduction, and the seamless integration of various business functions into a centralized platform. However, significant challenges persist, such as resistance to change, a shortage of skilled personnel, and high implementation costs. The findings highlight the transformative potential of these technologies for the textile industry, while emphasizing the need for further research to address barriers like workforce training and change management.
