Resumen
Efficient port management is important for maritime trade. In the optimization of logistic processes, this study examines the use of methodologies such as Simulation and Mixed Integer Linear Programming (MILP). It is highlighted that these methodologies are effective in identifying and correcting inefficiencies, which contributes to cost reduction. In addition, the importance of optimizing resources is analyzed, as this maximizes productivity. This systematic review suggests that an integrated approach that combines both Simulation and MILP methodologies would facilitate adaptability to changing market demands. Finally, it is essential to continue exploring new technologies and analyzing data for better results and operational efficiency.
