Resumen
In this research, three acylthioureas containing ethyl piperazine-1-car-boxylate in their structure were synthesized: ethyl 4-(benzoylcarbamothiol) piperazine-1-carboxylate (L1), ethyl 4-((4-methylbenzoyl)carbamo-thi ol) piperazine-1-carboxylate (L2), and ethyl 4-((3-nitrobenzoyl)carbamothiol)pipe-razine-1-carboxylate (L3). The physical properties (melting point and solubility) of each ligand were characterized, and additional properties were identified using instrumental techniques such as elemental analysis, infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy (1H-NMR and13C-NMR), and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS N1s). Subsequently, the antfungicidal activity of the three ligands against Aspergillus flavus was tested using the Kirby-Bauer method at three application percentages (0.5, 1.0, and 1.5%). The results demonstrated that the ligands inhibit fungal growth, highlighting the role of aromatic ring modification in biological activity and paving the way for the development of new antifungal agents.
