Resumen
Colorectal malignancy is among the most common cancers worldwide; however, its simultaneous association with other tumors, such as renal cancer, is very rare. The synchronous occurrence of colorectal cancer and clear cell renal carcinoma is even less frequent. Only seven cases have been reported globally. The diagnosis of colon and rectal cancer associated with other primary neoplasms is of particular interest, as these are often discovered during the staging process of the colorectal tumor, highlighting the importance of early detection and appropriate management. Such cases are often associated with Lynch syndrome. This report describes a 72-year-old male diagnosed with rectal adenocarcinoma and clear cell renal carcinoma, who underwent surgical treatment and showed a favorable prognosis and good survival.
