Lozano Vásquez K.A.; Verástegui Paredes C.R.; Paredes Jiménez H.R.; Revilla Marreros M.Á. · Revista Venezolana de Gerencia (2022) · DOI: 10.52080/rvgluz.27.8.33

Resumen

Achieving the sustainable development goals requires the support of governments and the union of different sectors of society for the benefit of the countries and, consequently, of the entire world. The disclosure of the purposes and associated issues must be assumed as a mandatory task to achieve a greater integration of forces. For this reason, this documentary-type research was proposed as the purpose of identifying the communication strategies that allow promoting environmental education based on the objectives of sustainable development, for this purpose a review of documents published during the last 5 years in databases such as Redalyc, Latindex and university repositories. The search for information shows an interest in the subject; mainly, from the commitment to raise awareness in children and adolescents about the impact of human actions on the future of the planet. It can be concluded that environmental education is present in academic training and in the media agenda; however, its incorporation in the academic is limited to subjects or topics, and in the journalistic or informative, it is restricted to news rather than training programs or activities; Therefore, it is necessary to implement communication strategies, through all media, especially digital and face-to-face, to consolidate a more environmental awareness and behavior in citizens as a matter of global interest.
