Resumen
The importance for countries to create survival strategies for their exporting companies and the considerable growth of avocado in recent years have become relevant issues; therefore, this research seeks to determine the survival of avocado exporting companies in Peru, making an analysis by size, 2014-2023. The methodology used is quantitative, descriptive, applying the Kaplan Meier method to determine the permanence of the companies. The population is composed of Peruvian avocado agroexporters in the period 2014 to 2023, which are taken from Sunat. The most outstanding results show that long-term survival varies considerably according to the size of the company. Large companies are the most likely to reach 10 years and microenterprises face the greatest difficulties, not even reaching 7 years.
