Maryori Brigitte F.-R.; Leidy Lucia M.-G.; Carlos L.P.-U.; Omar B.-S.; Fiorella Rocío V.-P. · Proceedings of the LACCEI international Multi-conference for Engineering, Education and Technology (2024) · DOI: 10.18687/laccei2024.1.1.1337

Resumen

This systematic review examined key practices in supply chain management within the construction sector, drawing on scientific literature from 2013 to 2022. A detailed analysis of relevant articles on ScienceDirect and Scopus was conducted. The results indicate that supply chain management was crucial in construction due to tight deadlines and limited budgets. The objective was to enhance the quality of service offered by construction companies by applying efficient management of materials and labor to achieve profitable benefits. Efficient management ensures timely availability and effective use of expensive materials and equipment. It was recommended that companies implement a proposal derived from the analyzed studies, which spans from procurement to delivery at the construction site, thus optimizing processes and reducing risks.
