Material and Methods: A descriptive and cross-sectional study was conducted in Arequipa-Peru. We selected 10,781 spirometric sample records that met the NIOSH quality recommendations for the inclusion criteria. Results: The mean FVC, FEV1 and ratio were 5.2 +/-0.8 L, 4.2 +/-0.6 L, 81.7% +/-5.4%. FVC and FEV1 decreased on average by 0.02 L (20 ml) adjusted for age increase in one unit of height (in centimeters), there is an increase in the average FVC and FEV1 of 0.05L (50 ml) and 0.04 L (40 ml), respectively. Conclusions: The records experienced an increase above the predicted expected, with a progressive increase in their values in relation to height.
