Resumen
This study concentrates on the development of human potential within organizations, taking into account technological evolution, scientific advancements, and shifting societal and consumer demands. Using a quantitative approach and a hypothetical deductive method, it examines how organizational factors affect labor motivation in a municipal savings bank. Adopted was a theoretical, non-experimental design with explanatory scope. Among the population were 28 employees. The sample was chosen through non-probabilistic, directed sampling. The Steers R. and Braunstein D. Work Motivation Scale (adapted by Negrón and Pérez, 2012) and the researcher-created Organizational Factors Questionnaire were utilized. Positive and substantial correlations were discovered between Environmental Conservation Attitude and Solid Waste Management, as well as Environmental Education and Solid Waste Management. In conclusion, the relationship between organizational factors and work motivation is confirmed to be significant but faintly influential. The majority of workers have low to moderate levels of motivation, highlighting the need to enhance organizational factors to increase motivation. The significance of addressing organizational factors to foster work motivation in the current environment is highlighted by the positive relationships.
