Resumen
The quality assurance in the educational sector is a challenge and a commitment for Latin American University Institutions. This article exposes the Strategy for the assessment of the Student Outcomes used in the Professional School of Systems Engineering of the Universidad Andina del Cusco. The Strategy takes as a reference the accreditation model of the Institute of Quality and Accreditation on Computer Science, Engineering and Technology Programs, with which the School has been accredited. Its implementation allowed the establishment of opportunities of improvement, the importance of having adequate guidelines and instruments, and also collaborators with a high commitment to achieve quality, demonstrating this way the value of recognizing models with a remarkable record for academic quality.
