Universities worldwide are very interested in this issue, since the post-modern society or knowledge society which characterizes the second millennium of the era, demands fully trained people, and capable of responding to the great changes that are becoming more and more important every day, accelerated, therefore educational entities at all levels must respond socially, training suitable people, from kindergarten to university. That is, from initial training to university. The purpose of this research is to determine whether the Pre-Professional practice influences the achievement of competencies in the students of the X cycle of the Professional Career of Initial Education, at the National University of Ucayali in the year 2019. To determine this relationship, the students in this group were studied. For this end, a survey was conducted on the dimensions of vocational training and its relationship with the skills acquired by students. Three experts validated the reliability of the questionnaire with the support of Cronbach’s alpha coefficient. The correlation between both variables was calculated using Spearman’s correlation coefficient.
