Resumen
This article explores the construction of a sense of place among a group of Venezuelan street vendors in the city of Lima, based on the soundscape they produce in their work environment. The aim is to understand how migratory experiences shape their relationship with urban space through voice, noise, and other auditory manifestations. The research employs a sound ethnographic methodology that combines audio recordings, interviews and participant observation. The results show that acoustic dynamics not only communicate discourses but also express affects, tensions and forms of inclusion or exclusion in public space. The study proposes a sensory and situated reading of the migratory experience, highlighting the value of the soundscape in understanding the spatial practices of migrants.
