Resumen
Soft skills have acquired relevance in the educational agenda, due to their influence on personal well-being, academic development and the construction of positive interpersonal relationships. These socio-emotional competencies allow students to develop capacities related to emotional self-regulation, effective communication, cooperation and responsible decision-making, which are essential for their comprehensive training. The objective of the study was to design and validate a pedagogical model based on soft skills to strengthen attitudes in secondary education students. The process included four phases: review of scientific literature on soft skills, design of the pedagogical model, validation of the model through expert judgment, and validity analysis using Aiken’s V coefficient. The results allowed us to structure a pedagogical model composed of five dimensions of soft skills: self-knowledge and self-regulation, interpersonal communication, collaborative work, critical thinking, and social responsibility. Likewise, the model incorporates active pedagogical strategies aimed at promoting participation, reflection and social interaction in the classroom. It is concluded that the pedagogical model based on soft skills constitutes a viable proposal to strengthen prosocial attitudes in secondary education students and contribute to the development of more collaborative, empathetic and socially responsible educational environments.
