Resumen
The COVID-19 pandemic has transformed the ways of relating to human beings, therefore this research aims to describe the social management of information and communication technologies in times of pandemic by students of the Professional School of Sociology, National University of the Altiplano, Puno-2020. Methodologically, the research is conceived from the quantitative paradigm at descriptive level, with a non-experimental design, being of applied type. The results show an important level of social management in terms of information and communication technologies during the period of social and obligatory confinement, which is fundamental for an adequate climate of family coexistence and collaborative work. The conclusions indicate that information and communication technologies have been a fundamental part of the process of adaptation and reinvention of the human being's ways of communicating and relating to others. However, their excessive and uncontrolled use can lead to a disruption in the environment where they are developed.
