A quantitative questionnaire is administered to 125 students who have experienced one or more S+L experiences. An exploratory factor analysis (EFA) is applied and statistical differences are explored according to the sociodemographic characteristics of the participants. The results show differences according to age and place of residence. It is recommended that future research on SL include various quantitative and qualitative techniques for a better understanding of the phenomenon under study. In conclusion, the findings of the present study can be used for the design of training models, teaching methodologies, and institutional policies that contribute to the training health sciences professionals with high social sensitivity. © Este es un artículo publicado en acceso abierto bajo una licencia Creative Commons
