Resumen
We present the case of a 44-year-old man, with no medical history, who presented with involuntary and painful priapism and was found to have anemia, severe leukocytosis and thrombocytosis, for which a bone marrow aspirate compatible with chronic myeloid leukemia was performed and the molecular study was positive for BCR/ABL p210, receiving treatment with hydroxyurea and decompressive incision of the corpus cavernosum, with evident improvement of priapism and hematological disorders. Priapism is a rare manifestation of chronic myeloid leukemia, so its association should be suspected in order to treat the neoplasia and to avoid erectile dysfunction.
