Scientific production of the professors of the Faculty of Stomatology of the Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia during the year 2024

Resumen

Aim: This study aimed to describe the scientific output of faculty members from the Faculty of Stomatology at Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia during 2024. Materials and methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted, analyzing the scientific publications from FAEST-UPCH faculty throughout 2024. Inclusion and exclusion criteria were applied, identifying a total of 68 articles, of which 19 were excluded. The final sample included 49 publications. Statistical analysis was carried out using SPSS software. The study was approved by an ethics committee, ensuring confidentiality and responsible use of data. Results: Most publications (65.31%) were concentrated in the second half of the year. The specialty with the highest scientific output was Public Health. Notably, 93.75% of the articles were indexed in international databases, with Scopus being the most common. Conclusion: During 2024, faculty members of the Facultad de Estomatología at Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia demonstrated significant scientific activity, contributing 49 publications, primarily in internationally recognized journals.
