Resumen

The purpose of this research was to identify tourism resources as a strategy to revalue the glaciers in the Olleros district. To achieve the objective, the manual for the preparation of the inventory of tourist resources of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism was used. This manual contributed to the identification of resources during field work in the study area, which was complemented with photographs. To establish the routes and the longitudinal section of altitude, geographic information systems such as Google Maps online, ArcGis Pro and Google Earth were used. In addition, to determine the tourist activities, field visits and aerial photography with a drone were carried out. As a result, five tourism resources are identified and five tourism activities are organized: mountain biking, hiking, glacial landscape photography, research tourism and astronomical observatory. The conclusion is that these tourist resources have great potential to become tourist attractions.
