Robust Nonsingular Terminal Sliding Mode Control with Constant Frequency for DC/DC Boost Converters

Robles J.; Sotelo F.; Chavez J. · 2020 IEEE 21st Workshop on Control and Modeling for Power Electronics, COMPEL 2020 (2020) · DOI: 10.1109/compel49091.2020.9265736

Resumen

This paper proposes a new type of Nonsingular Terminal Sliding Mode Controller (NTSMC) based on the current error to overcome the nonlinearities presented in the dynamic model of Boost Converters. The NTSMC also uses a constant switching frequency to reduce the chattering effects which can cause lower control performances. Simulation results are shown to confirm the high performance and robustness of the proposed controller.
