Resumen
Risk management is conceived as a procedure designed to achieve success in project development, mainly those carried out on a large scale. Following these guidelines, the purpose of the research was to analyze how organizational culture and the guidelines or decisions emanating from its leadership can impact the identification of risks in large-scale projects. Methodologically, this was an interpretive and documentary exploration. It concluded that there is an urgent need to integrate organizational culture into risk management demands, seeking technical and human balance, thus increasing resilience and success in civil project management.
